All withdrawals from the Bank Account must bear 2 signatures. All 4 Officers to be signatories.

Fair Ballotting:

All Clubs must use the same system of having pegs in a bag out of sight and being handed to the rider by the person in charge of the pegs and not self selection by the rider.

This will not be refunded if he/she does not subsequently ride in both classes.

STARTING PROCEDURE :

When all the riders are on the start line, the starter will hold up a 15 second board for a full 15 seconds, at the end of the 15 seconds, he will hold up a 5 second board and the gate/flag will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5 second board is shown.

RIDING BIBS :

Riders must have a number bib/shirt available AT ALL TIMES in case the Clerk of the Course deems the conditions unsatisfactory for the lap-scorers and decides that riders must wear them as an additional aid. The numbers must be shown on the rider's back and the size of the numbers must be the same or larger than the number plate figures.

ENTRY FEES :

Entry fees may be paid into the bank 2 weeks prior to the event. Non starters must justify their absence in writing within one week of the event to be considered for a refund.

WRISTBANDS :

Riders will have wristbands placed on their left wrist at the signing on table and must keep them on so that they can show an official when challenged on the start line. This will stop unauthorised riders trying to start in races.

PRACTISE: (from 22/7/08. optional)

The first lap of practise will be ridden behind a travelling marshal who must not be overtaken. This will enable the rider to accustom himself to the track and the prevailing riding conditions on the day at a slower pace.

Noise :

If a machine fails the noise test an additional 10 places will be added to the rider’s final placing.

Transponders :

Riders must use transponders at Open Centre events.
