South Eastern Centre Motocross Combine Rules
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:
The Annual General Meeting will always take place before the first meeting of the year at which the Officers will be elected.
EMERGENCY MEETINGS: If an emergency meeting needs to be called 60% of the members must be in favour.
OFFICERS: The Officers of the Combine shall consist of :-
MEMBERS: Membership shall consist of Clubs that currently organise Moto X Meetings or have done so in the recent past and each Club will be entitled to 2 votes. An Associate membership is also available to Clubs who have an interest [ for example riders that compete in Moto X] and they will be entitled to 1 vote. Combine Officers will not be entitled to vote except the Chairman, who would have the casting vote in the case of a deadlock.
SUBSCRIPTIONS: Subscriptions are due and set annually on 31st March and will be £10 for Organising Clubs and £5 for Associates [ 1998]. Failure to renew subs would be seen as resignation from the Combine.
BANK ACCOUNT: All withdrawals from the Bank Account must bear 2 signatures. All 5 Officers to be signatories.
FAIR BALLOTTING: All Clubs must use the same system of having pegs in a bag out of sight and being handed to the rider by the person in charge of the pegs and not self selection by the rider.
ADDITIONAL CLASS: Riders may ride in more than one class, providing there are vacancies on the closing date in the additional class[es]. They must state which classes they wish to enter on the entry form giving their preferred first choice. He/she will have to pay an additional £10 entry fee when accepted for another class. This will not be refunded if he/she does not subsequently ride in both classes.
STARTING PROCEDURE: When all the riders are on the start line, the starter will hold up a 15 second board for a full 15 seconds, at the end of the 15 seconds, he will hold up a 5 second board and the gate/flag will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5 second board is shown.
RIDING BIBS: Riders must have a number bib/shirt available AT ALL TIMES in case the Clerk of the Course deems the conditions unsatisfactory for the lap-scorers and decides that riders must wear them as an additional aid. The numbers must be shown on the rider's back and the size of the numbers must be the same or larger than the number plate figures.
CENTRE CHAMPIONSHIPS:
SIDECARS: Only ACU licence holders will be eligible for points and prize money that relate to the SE Centre Championship Sidecar Round. [ this relates to combined AMCA/ACU events]
CHAMPIONSHIP CALENDAR: Once the S.E. Centre Championship Calendar has been published , any date changes or additional dates will not be allowed to count towards the Championships.
JUNIOR CLASS - Points Awarded & Records Kept: When a rider is upgraded to an Expert, he scores no further points. At the end of the year, whoever is top of the league table wins. It could be a "new" Expert or a Junior that has scored consistently in positions which did not attract Expert points.
